Denton County Fresh Water Supply Districts 8A, 8B, 11A and 11B

NOTICE -Your Rates and Billing Policies are NOT set by Mustang. The Paloma Creek subdivision districts (Denton County Fresh Water Supply Districts #8A, 8B, 11A, 11B) set the rates and payment policies.

Your first bill…

  • Will be from the service start date to the next 15th of the month. You will receive your first bill around the 15th and it is due on the 1st of next month.
  • Will include your regular monthly charges and a deposit of $60 and a “misc” charge of $35 for trash deposit and account set up.

Regular Monthly Billings…

  • Bills are always mailed on the 15th, or closest business day, and are always due on the 1st.
  • After the due date, a minimum $10.00 or 10% of bill late fee will be assessed, and late notices will be mailed.
  • Payment must be received by 5 P.M. on the due date shown on the late notice to avoid disconnection.
  • Mustang is not responsible for the postal service.
  • Failure to receive bill does not exempt customers from receiving late fees or disconnection.
  • View your account and pay online here, you must have your first bill to do this.
  • Questions about water service, call us at 940-440-9561.

Your trash …

  • Is serviced by Waste Management. We will set up your trash account with them.
  • Is picked up on Wednesday. Have trash out by 7 a.m. to ensure pickup.
  • Questions can be answered by calling Waste Management at 1-800-772-8653
Your Monthly Fees ...


Base fees are: $22.00 for water availability fee, and $10.00 Fire Protection. 

Your usage is billed as follows:


Gallons Used 
         Per 1000 Gallons:

Up to 10,000                     $3.50
10,001 and up                   $4.50

Sewer Charges:

up to 10,000                      $44
10,001 and up                   $46
