IMPORTANT BILLING INFORMATION

Your monthly water bill from Mustang Special Utility District may include additional charges, depending on the city you live in. Mustang handles billing on behalf of certain cities and development districts as part of our service agreements. These charges may include services such as police and fire protection, franchise fees, trash collection, or drainage fees. It is important to note these are not charges put in place by Mustang, but by the respective cities. 

Below are the base monthly rates for Mustang Special Utility District:

Monthly Charges 
  • Water Availability Fee: $32.22
  • Sewer Charge (Based on water usage):
    • Under 8,000 gallons: $59.18
    • Over 8,000 gallons: $66.00
  • Franchise Fee (Based on water availability fee and water usage, if applicable):
    • City of Oak Point: 6.00%
    • City of Krugerville: 2.00%
    • City of Crossroads: 2.00%
    • City of Aubrey: 8.00%

Water Usage Rates (per 1,000 gal) 
  • 0–3 k: $3.15
  • 3 k–9 k: $4.42
  • 9 k–15 k: $5.51
  • 15 k–23 k: $6.71
  • 23 k–31 k: $10.27
  • 31 k–40 k: $13.09
  • 40 k+: $18.33
Ways to Pay Your Bill 
  • Online:
    1. Find your account number at the top-right of your bill.
    2. Go to mustangwater.com and click “pay my bill.”
  • By Phone: Call (844) 201-8794
Important Billing Information 
  • Bills mailed on the 1st; due on the 15th of every month.
  • Payment must be received by 4:30 PM the day before your disconnect date to avoid fees.
  • Mustang is NOT responsible for postal delays.
  • Payments are processed on receipt date (not postmark).
  • Not receiving your bill does not exempt you from late fees or disconnection.
